Introductory note:

This is a temporary AlfaCAD program website. Temporary, because the previous one was infected and destroyed by a hacker, thanks to support from Wordpress, the program in which the previous site was created. Support, because the program provides plugins offered by various authors, installed with one click. The first contact with the program assures you that without plugins this program is practically useless due to its limitations. The problem is that these plugins are not verified by Wordpress in any way for their security, and because they are installed with one click, the user has limited possibilities to verify them until the moment when his page ceases to exist and is replaced by some foreign page offering help in removing viruses from the computer, ointment for male organ enlargement or other s**t. Never use Wordpress. Ever.

AlfaCAD is a program made available for free, in order to support the engineering community and engineering enthusiasts, as well as the programming community, because soon the full source code of the program will be made available, so that anyone who wants can make use of my work. At the moment I am working on cleaning the code from unnecessary garbage that has multiplied over the entire period of development, changes, trials and tests.

Attacking the site was an act of stupidity, although probably done by a bot and not a human, which speaks even worse about the human. This is not a commercial site, you can't steal money here and destroying the site always ends in the destruction of the intruder's site. The virus kills the victim but dies with it. That's how virus does.

The new site will be simple and will only provide links to the program and to PDF files describing their functions, especially those not described in the basic guide.

The program is being created in 4 languages: English, Polish, Ukrainian and Spanish, because these are the languages ​​that I can use to a greater or lesser extent, although not always without the support of an online translator, so probably the vocabulary used is not always chosen correctly.

The ZIP file of the "Last night’s build" should be extracted in the folder where AlfaCAD is installed, overwriting existing files. This also applies to folders contained in the ZIP file.

In Linux, make sure that the executable files overwritten from the ZIP file have the executable attribute.

Updating from the ZIP file is not necessary, because the AlfaCAD program has procedures for updating the package when the program starts, if a newer version is detected on the server. The update consists of downloading the ZIP file, unpacking it in the main program folder and changing the attributes of the executable files if necessary.
